Michael Sam and his fiancé Vito Cammisano have reportedly called off their relationship six months into their engagement.

Rumors are swirling that Sam and Cammisano, who met and started dating as students at the University of Missouri, have called it quits. The evidence is that Sam seems to have deleted a number of pictures of Cammisano from his Instagram page, and that Cammisano appeared in a recent YouTube video without his engagement ring.

Sam and Cammisano, who haven’t been pictured together in roughly two months, became engaged while traveling through Rome back in January. It’s believed that trouble could have hit the pair a couple of weeks ago, as Sam exited training camp with the Montreal Alouettes June 12 for a leave to attend to personal matters.

“They’ve been rocky for months,” a source told Us Weekly about the pair, claiming that the two had indeed split.

Neither Sam nor Cammisano has released a statement to address the breakup rumors. Cammisano, for his part, still has pictures with Sam up on his social media pages, including his Twitter profile picture.
