Their secret is finally out – Olympian Michael Phelps and former Miss California Nicole Johnson were married in June.
Neither party told anyone their plan, which is why their marriage has stayed a secret for so long. The ceremony was June 13, just a little over a month after the birth of their son Boomer Phelps. The only indication was a casual Instagram post from the model, captioned “Such a memorable night with my lil fambam.”
Following this, the 31-year-old swimmer added five gold medals to his Olympic career at the Rio games, bringing his total to 23 golds and 28 medals overall.
