Michael Phelps Out Of Rehab

Michael Phelps celebrated Thanksgiving this year with his family, fresh from his stint in rehab after his Sept. 30 drunk driving arrest. Phelps posted a picture of the celebratory dinner on Instagram, ending a long social media blackout stemming both from the arrest and a variety of other minor scandals. Most notable in the picture, besides Phelps’ thick beard, is the appearance of Miss California Nicole Johnson (first person on his left in the picture) who he dated on and off from 2007 to 2012.

Meanwhile, Phelps self-proclaimed girlfriend, Taylor Lianne Chandler, recently spoke with the Daily Beast concerning their alleged relationship and the confusion surrounding it. When asked if she and Phelps were still together she said, “I can assure you the reason we are not together right now and the reason I haven’t heard from him is not because I was born intersex. It’s not because of all the social media or tabloids. It has nothing to do with that whatsoever. The reason we’re not together is his story to tell if he decides to tell it. It has nothing to do with me and I did nothing wrong.”

Neither Phelps or anyone in his camp has spoken on Chandler or any of her claims, though given Johnson’s reappearance in Phelps’ Instagram pictures and her recent tweet, it seems his relationship with Chandler, if any of it actually happened, is over.
