Michael Jackson’s children, Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, accepted a lifetime achievement award for their late father at the Grammy Awards Sunday night. "Through all his songs his message was simple, love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world," the poised Prince said. Usher, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Smokey Robinson performed a special tribute to Jackson including a special 3-D video clip he made of his "Earth Song," which had been intended to be shown at his farewell concerts in London.
Missing from the stage was Michael’s third, and youngest son, Prince “Blanket” Michael II. He reportedly got nervous before going on stage with his brother and sister and it was decided to keep him off stage. This is the second time – after speaking at their father’s memorial service – Michael’s children have taken to the stage to publicly represent their father.
