It looks as if Michael Fassbender does not need mutant powers to make lovely women feel more intimate with him, when a couple bottles of hard liquor and some Donna Summer do the trick. Fassbender plays a sex addict in Steve McQueen's Shame, which will arrive at the New York Film Festival October 7, and for one explicit nude scene involving burlesque stars Calamity Chang and DeeDee Luxe, the trio got in the mood with the help of some spirits and tunes.

Chang dished on the behind-the-scenes magic. “Steve and Michael both made the situation very comfortable and not awkward,” she told the New York Post. “Having two bottles of hard liquor helped too.” Chang also said that there was very little left to the imagination. “It was full-on nudity, all three of us. And we asked Steve to play mood music so it wasn’t just three people in a room moaning and heavily making out. So Steve put on ‘Love to Love You Baby,’ the extended remix.”

Fassbender, who played Magneto in X-Men: First Class, will also play a robot in the forthcoming Prometheus, Ridley Scott's project that takes place in the Alien universe. It costars Charlize Theron.
