The Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile suffers from Marfan Syndrome, an extremely rare fibrostic connective tissue disorder, and has been hospitalized multiple times, causing the band to take a break from touring.
Many Of Mice & Men (affectionately known as OMM) fans have taken to social media to tell Carlile to get better and to hurry back to the band. The singer took time to write a sobering message to his fans on Twitter, explaining that he will never get better. Read the entire chain below.
Carlile required a heart surgery last year and revealed that he was clinically dead for three hours on the table. Fewer than 200,000 cases of Marfan syndrome are diagnosed each year. The singer has recently found newfound devotion in God and speaks openly about his decision to be baptized earlier this year.
