The New York Mets have apologized to Jerry Seinfeld for Lady Gaga‘s erratic behavior last week when the pop singer flashed two middle fingers to the paparazzi, dressed scantily clad in a jeweled bra and panty, and yelled profanity while sitting in the Citi Field luxury box owned by Seinfeld.
"We deeply regret that Jerry Seinfeld has been associated with this matter," the Mets said in a statement. "The use of Jerry Seinfeld’s suite was unauthorized and unknown to him at the time. We made a quick decision to place Lady Gaga and her group in a private suite because of issues related to her visit."
Lady Gaga had initially sat behind home plate before moving to Seinfeld’s unaccompanied box seats by the seventh inning after attracting too much attention. "A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush," she posted on her Twitter hours following the incident without apologizing. "I bleed for my hometown, and I’d die for my fans."
Gaga also made headlines last week when she attended her sister’s high school graduation wearing a usually bizarre outfit. The media criticized her for overshadowing her little sister’s special day though Gaga claims it is an act of revenge for her alma mater. –Natthakan Garunrangseewong

Are we really surprised? Lady Gaga has got to be one of the most peculiar people in the world - and that's putting it mildly. Why she has millions of adoring minions, I'll never understand.
It's obvious she needs to be in the spotlight. But i just find this wrong and selfish. Why go to a Mets game if you are only going to draw attention to yourself?
..is there any celebrity who hasn't flipped off the paparazzi? Maybe Lady Gaga should try singing to them instead next time, I can think of an appropriate song!
