Heavy metal band Metallica was next on the list of rockers to join Jimmy Fallon and the Roots on The Tonight Show to recreate a famous song using classic classroom instruments.
The band performed their 1991 hit “Enter Sandman” and it still sounded pretty heavy, even with the toys, and lead singer James Hetfield did not hold back. Fallon appeared to have a blast trying to scream the lyrics alongside the pros.
The other band members played important roles as well, with guitarist Kirk Hammett on the Melodica, bassist Robert Trujillo on the baby electric axe and drummer Lars Ulrich on the Fisher Price Drum and toy cymbals.
