Member Of Laura Linney’s Team Assaulted By Autograph Seeker During New York Fashion Week

On Sunday, a member of actress Laura Linney‘s team was assaulted by an autograph seeker.

A man tried to get into the star’s personal space by aggressively pushing his way in. Her team members accompanied Linney when she left the fashion show at the Pierre Hotel in New York City.

While waiting for her car, Linney was stormed by fans and paparazzi outside the event. A man seeking her signature then approached her and pushed the man helping escort Linney to her car. The man seeking the signature then struck Linney’s escort on the back of the head.

Linney then asked if her aide was okay. He responded that he was fine with a smile.

Prior to the incident, Linney was seen sitting in the front row with Alicia Silverstone, Avril Lavigne, Janet Jackson, Kesha and Quinta Brunson at the Christian Siriano runway show.
