Melissa McCarthy, 52, joined the West Hollywood Pride Parade yesterday to celebrate Pride Month and support the LGBTQ community.
The Bridesmaids actress was all sunshine as wore a rainbow-striped cape with a rainbow-sequined dress and carried a rainbow umbrella with purple fringes.
The Emmy winner was also named WeHo Pride’s 2023 Ally Icon, for her outspoken allyship and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
Recently, McCarthy starred in the live-action film of The Little Mermaid as Ursula, the sea witch who captures Ariel’s voice. In relation to pride month, Ursula was inspired by drag queen Divine.
“There’s a drag queen that lives in me. I’m always right on the verge of going full-time with her,” McCarthy told Entertainment Weekly.
