Melissa Benoist and Blake Jenner, who met on the set of Fox’s Glee, secretly wed earlier this year.
Benoist, 26, and Jenner, 22, tied the knot towards the end of March after Benoist wrapped filming the first season of Supergirl, reported Us Weekly. The wedding was “very small with their families there,” a source told the magazine.
Following the wedding, the newlyweds headed to Europe for their honeymoon, and both actors even shared snaps from the trip.
Though neither Benoist nor Jenner has made a public statement about the marriage, Benoist did wear her wedding band while promoting Supergirl at Comic-Con over the weekend. According to people at the event, she admitted that she was already married to those who asked. Jenner has reportedly been seen wearing a wedding band since April.
Both Benoist and Jenner joined the cast of Glee a few seasons in, playing Marley Rose and Ryder Lynn, respectively. While their on-screen characters had an on-and-off romance, the two started a serious relationship. In July 2013, the couple revealed their engagement and that they had been dating for a year.
Benoist and Jenner will soon be seen together again onscreen in feature Billy Boy. Benoist is also currently filming Low Riders and will star in the upcoming Supergirl series, while Jenner will appear in Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some and thriller Within.
Supergirl premieres on CBS Monday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
