Melania Trump ‘Repulsed’ By Donald Trump & Wants Divorce, Omarosa Manigault Newman Says
Melania Trump wants to divorce Donald Trump now that he has lost the election, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman claimed.
According to The Mail On Sunday, Manigault Newman said “Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce.” The former Apprentice contestant had previously released a book in 2018 titled Unhinged An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House after she served as Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.
“If Melania were to try to pull the ultimate humiliation and leave while he’s in office, he would find a way to punish her,” Manigault Newman said. Experts also believe that Melania may be under a type of prenup agreement that prevents her from being critical of the president, as Marla Maples, Trump’s second wife, is under.
Last month, during an appearance on the British TV show Lorraine, she called the Trumps’ relationship “very strange.”
“What I have observed in the last 17 years would make your head spin. Sometimes they like each other but sometimes she is repulsed by him,” said Manigault Newman.
The Trumps have been together for 15 years, and although they want the public to believe they have a happy marriage, there have been many rumors about their life as a couple. Back when Trump was elected president in 2016, it was reported that Melania burst into tears because she never thought he would actually win.
Since then, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has claimed that the Trumps have a “transactional” marriage.
“Donald got arm candy. Melania got two dynamic decades,” Wolkoff told BBC.
“She was a young model, she didn’t have success yet,” she said. “She met Donald, she married, she became an American citizen, they had a son and ten years after that she’s the First Lady of the United States.”
Wolkoff also wrote in her book, Melania and Me, that Melania had stayed in New York after Trump moved into the White House not just so Barron could finish school, but to also leverage a better post-nuptial agreement to allow Barron a share of the Trump businesses equal to his father’s other children.
