Melania Trump Mocked For Promoting $175 ‘Tacky’ Memorial Day Jewelry

Former First Lady Melania Trump received criticism on social media for promoting Memorial Day-themed jewelry. On Instagram and X, Trump reposted USA Memorabilia’s Fortitude Collection. The collection features a pair of necklaces with patriotic images engraved in the pendant.

The Bravery necklace features a soldier and the United States flag. The Liberty necklace features an eagle flying in front of a flag above the word “liberty.” Both necklaces are available in stainless steel or gold-plated versions and are priced at $125 and $175, respectively.

According to USA Memorabilia’s website, “The Fortitude Collection celebrates our service members, our Nation, and our freedom.”

After Trump shared the jewelry on her social media pages, the former First Lady faced criticism from users who claimed the jewelry was “cheap” and “tacky.” However, Trump also received praise from fans who thanked her for honoring service members.

“Very cheap items sold at very high prices to people who need to choose between food, medicine or baubles sold by a billionaire who will never look at them under any other circumstances!” one user said on X.

A supporter of Trump replied, “How wonderful to raise money for the armed services!”

In April, Trump also launched a necklace on her website for Mother’s Day. The necklace, priced at $245, featured a gold three-petal floral pendant with the words “love & gratitude” engraved. The necklace also came with Trump’s signature and was advertised as “customizable.”

Melania has been notably absent from her husband’s campaign for reelection, leading many observers to suggest there may be trouble in the marriage.

The former First Lady is said to be very embarrassed by the New York hush money trial of her husband. At the trial, Michael Cohen testified that it was Melania’s idea to call the Access Hollywood tape “locker room talk,” which became a key campaign talking point.
