Melania Trump Is Focused On Son Barron’s Needs Ahead Of White House Planning

Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, who previously declared, “Who gives a f—” about the topic in a leaked text message, has confirmed her plans to decorate the White House—but sources stress that her son will always come first.

In 2018, a recording resurfaced on social media in which Melania declared, “I’m working…my a– off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f— about Christmas stuff and decorations?… But I need to do it, right?”

Despite her strongly expressed disinterest in the tradition, sources close to the former first lady recently told People that Melania will continue to “step up and carry on” the presidency’s festive holiday customs.

However, on a seemingly unrelated note, sources stressed that, as always, Melania would be putting her youngest son Barron’s needs above everything.

The former ambassador to the Dominican Republic under President Trump, Robin Bernstein, who is also a friend of Melania’s, confirmed to People that Barron would take precedence over Melania’s responsibilities for the White House holiday display.

Bernstein proclaimed, “Melania has exquisite taste and will make the White House beautiful and magical…You can take one look at Melania and see how meticulous she is in appearance. She agrees that Christmas is a magical time of year and definitely gets into it and will continue to get into it. She has a magical style herself and that will translate to the White House decorating. I think she will spend the time she needs to make it look perfect.”

Yet Bernstein admitted, “But she has Barron to look after, and that time will factor into how long she spends on various parts of the project.”

Barron, 18 years old and a freshman at NYU, likely has other things to do besides spend time with his mother.

Over the years, many internet users have expressed discomfort at Melania’s seemingly obsessive relationship with her youngest son, and have classified her as a “boy mom.”
