Donald Trump was arrested on Tuesday in New York City and forced to respond to 34 criminal charges – and his wife, Melania Trump, was nowhere to be seen.
The ex-president pleaded not guilty to all felony counts against him after he surrendered to police at Manhattan Criminal Court.
Trump traveled to New York on Monday with his son, Eric Trump, for his court surrender.
Melania was last seen by her husband’s side during his ex-wife Ivana‘s funeral.
The 52-year-old former first lady reportedly feels happy at Mar-a-Lago but still is upset with her husband over the alleged affair with Stormy Daniels.
Before Trump’s 2016 election, Trump gave Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about their affair. Trump and his executives then allegedly misreported the payment as legal fees, which is a crime in New York.
Trump admitted to sending the money to Daniels but continues to deny the affair with the former porn star.
Melania remains focused on her son, Barron Trump, and enjoying her life.
She did not show up at Trump’s angry speech at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night in which he railed against the many investigations that he is facing and attacked prosecutors personally.
