Melania Trump Blasts Christmas Decorations & Coverage Of Migrants In Secret Recordings: ‘I Don’t Give A F—‘

Melania Trump was recorded ranting about the border family separations and her duties within the White House in a recently released set of tapes. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, former senior advisor and confidant of the first lady, played the tapes on CNN as part of promotion for her new book, Melania and Me.

In the tapes, Trump is furious, starting off her conversation with Wilkoff by cursing the media out.

“I don’t give a f–” Trump declared after Wilkoff asked her how she felt about her worsening reputation. Trump said that people once liked her because they pitied her, calling the ever changing media portrayal of her “bullsh–.”

“I’m doing the same stuff that I did before. They cannot stand him. They know that I’m with him.”

The conversation, because it was recorded shortly after Trump’s visit to the border, quickly turned to how migrant children were separated from their families, as well as the criticism both President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania received for the policy.

“All these kids that I met, they’re here in the shelters because they were brought by it through coyotes. The people who were trafficking,” Melania said. “And that’s why they put them in jail. And the kids that they go in shelters. And the way they take care of them. They even said, the kids, they say, ‘Wow, I will have my own bed. I will sleep on the bed. I will have a cabinet for my clothes,'” she described mockingly.

The First Lady was recorded saying that at home, the migrant children slept on the ground and had nothing, and that their lives in the shelters, while “sad,” were good compared to their lives before migrating. She said that she wanted to help them, but could not because they needed to “go through the process, and through the law.”

Trump also mentioned her belief that a lot of illegal immigrants lie about the dangers of their home countries to get into the United States.

“They’re teached by other people what to say to come over and to let them go to stay here,” Trump said. “They could easily stay in Mexico, but they don’t want to stay in Mexico because Mexico doesn’t take care of them the same as America does.”

According to a UNICEF report, a large population of the children who illegally migrate to America come from Central American countries, particularly the Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, where they face “exploitation, violence and abuse.”

Trump then went on to complain about her obligations as a first lady which she found somewhat petty.

“I’m working my a– off… on Christmas stuff that, you know, who give a f– about Christmas stuff and the decoration?” she starts off. “I say that I’m working on Christmas planning for the Christmas. And they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?” Give me a f–ing break. Where they were saying anything when Obama did that?'”

Under the Obama administration, it should be noted, there was no blanket policy to separate children from their families – the policy was to separate children when it seemed that they were in potential danger, such as when the adult they traveled with could not be established as their guardian, their guardian was being prosecuted, or they seemed to be a threat to the child.

Trump’s recorded rant ended as she finished up her complaints about the media, and how liberal reporters refused to cover her visit to the border in a positive light. Apparently, her infamous green jacket reading “I really don’t care, do u?” was meant for those same media critics.

“They would not do the story because they are against us because they’re liberal media,” she said. “I’m driving liberals crazy that’s for sure,” she added when asked about the jacket. “They deserve it.”

Though the reception of the tapes have further worsened her reputation with the liberal media by erasing the benefit of the doubt some gave her, they have strengthened her reputation with conservatives and those who were already fans.

Everyone seems to have wildly different interpretations of the tapes, but one thing is for sure –  they are not white house approved. The first lady’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, has already moved to discredit them in a statement.

“[Wikfoff’s] only intent was to secretly tape the first lady in order to peddle herself and her salacious book,” she said. “There is no way to know if these recordings have been edited, and it’s clear the clips were handpicked and presented with no context. The first lady remains focused on her family and serving our country.”
