No official statements have been made, but it appears that Melania Trump and 10-year-old son Barron Trump will remain living in New York once Donald Trump moves into the White House.
The family has expressed that they would probably want Barron to finish the school year at his current school, a private school on the Upper West Side. “There’s obviously sensitivity to pulling their 10-year-old out of school in the middle of the school year,” said Trump team communications director Jason Miller. “A more formal statement will be coming in the future.”
Trump himself told Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach that his wife and son would move to Washington “very soon, right after he finishes school.” The living arrangements are not set in stone, but it seems the Trump family will reside in the White House in the spring.
