Megyn Kelly Calls CNN Anchor Kaitlan Collins A ‘Cold-Hearted B—-,’ Tells Her To ‘Smile’
Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has launched a scathing critique of CNN primetime host Kaitlan Collins, focusing on her personality and alleged bias.
During a recent episode of her SiriusXM show, Kelly took aim at Collins’ appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, where the CNN anchor defended her network as “fair” and claimed it appeals to viewers across the political spectrum.
Kelly disputed Collins’ assertions, arguing that the CNN host’s primary flaw is not her perceived bias but rather her on-air demeanor. “Her delivery lacks warmth and personality, making it difficult for viewers to connect with her,” Kelly stated, suggesting that Collins should try to appear more approachable on camera.
“I have a pro tip for her: Smile,” Kelly said. “Try smiling. Try not to be in your delivery like such a cold-hearted b—- all the time, because it gives people nothing to bond to.”
The SiriusXM host also challenged Collins‘ credentials as a network “star,” asserting that her appeal is limited to left-leaning audiences. Kelly criticized Collins’ reference to her Alabama background as a basis for understanding conservative viewpoints, dismissing the idea that geographical origins inherently lead to balanced reporting.
Kelly’s comments come as she celebrates a significant milestone for her own media presence. Her YouTube channel, which streams her SiriusXM show, recently surpassed 1 billion views and boasts over 2.3 million subscribers. In July, her channel outperformed several major news outlets in terms of viewership, including NBC News, CBS News and BBC News.
The former Fox News and NBC anchor attributed her success to growing dissatisfaction with mainstream media outlets. “Alternative media platforms are thriving because people are tired of being fed biased content by traditional news sources,” Kelly explained.
