Meghan McCain implied that she will be voting for former Vice President Joe Biden, saying her pick for president “really shouldn’t be rocket science for people” on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“I keep telling everyone: I will promise you, you will know who I’m voting for,” McCain said. “But, it really shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to know there is one man, who has made pain in my life a living hell, and another man who has like literally shepherded me through the grief process.”

McCain explained that her parents were longtime friends with Biden, despite differences in political opinion. In the past, President Donald Trump has been less than friendly to McCain and her late father, Sen. John McCain, though they share the same political party. Trump infamously claimed that John McCain was not a war hero, and continued to belittle the senator even after he died. On the flip side, Biden publicly comforted McCain on The View while her father was battling brain cancer.

“I’m always like my heart over my head in so many different ways, and the Trumps are always making my mom cry, and I just think politics is personal too,” McCain said. “And I think character is really important in this moment, and someone who can tamp down … fear and anger instead of making it worse.”

McCain appeared on the show alongside Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, who asked if McCain could be Biden’s pick for vice president.

“I don’t know who it is, probably more like Kamala,” McCain responded, referring to former candidate California Sen. Kamala Harris.

“But I’m not friends with Kamala,” Jayne joked.
