Meghan Markle’s estranged sister Samantha Markle is reportedly on a “fixated persons list” in Scotland Yard in the U.K.

On Sunday, The Sunday Times reported that Markle, who has criticized the former Suits star since her engagement and marriage to Prince Harry, has been flagged by police royalty and specialist protection unit. Over her interviews and tweets, in which she has slammed the newlyweds, and is said to “poses a repetitional risk” to the royal family.

Upon discovering the news, Markle wasn’t too thrilled and wrote on Twitter and wrote, “fake news there is no list and I have not been charged with anything. The Sunday Times put out a bulls–t story. #fakenews losers.” Meghan’s personal officers spoke with Scotland Yard’s Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) about Markle and the consequences she would face if she tried to reach out to the Duchess of Sussex in person again. The FTAC’s main purpose is assessing and managing “the risks from lone individuals who harass, stalk, or threaten public figures” according to their site.

In October, the 57-year-old, who lives in Florida, flew to England and tried to deliver a letter to Meghan at the Kensington Palace, but she was turned away by palace security. After the incident, Markle went on public television to explain the purpose of her trip, which she said was to “sort of speak the wishes and thoughts and sentiments of my father, and hopefully get a message to my sister.”

Recently, Markle also slammed the Duchess of Sussex, claiming that she and Prince Harry’s Christmas card, which showed them watching fireworks at their May wedding, was a clear sign that she had turned her back on her family. She also dissed Meghan, who is expecting her first child in the spring, after she ignored a Christmas card that Markle shared publicly.

Now, the Scotland Yard isn’t taking things lightly, when explaining to The Times what Markle’s placement on the list means for herself and the royals, a Scotland Yard source explained that Markle presents a “risk.”

“You can’t protect someone like the Duchess of Sussex without knowing the background of her family,” the source said. “But someone like Samantha presents a risk rather than a threat. She is not committing criminal offences, but she is causing concerns for the royal family.”

“There is big potential for some major embarrassment for the royals. Samantha could make a scene and create headlines with her actions — and let’s face it she’s kind of already done that,” the source added.

Markle doesn’t agree that she’s a “risk” according to The Times.

“I would only say that is ludicrous. I’m not a reputational risk” she said.
