Meghan Markle Accuses Royal Family Of ‘Perpetuating Falsehoods About Us’

Ahead of the highly anticipating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, a new preview has been released for the CBS exclusive airing on March 8.

“How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today?” Winfrey said in the clip.

“I don’t know how they could expect that after all of this time, we would still just be silent, if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us,” Markle replied. “And if that comes with a risk of losing things. I mean, I mean – there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”

On Wednesday, Buckingham Palace launched a probe into allegations made against Markle by former palace staff claiming that the Duchess bullied them.

Markle called the allegations “a calculated smear based on misleading and armful misinformation.”
