Megan Fox was spotted shooting scenes for the forthcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 in New York City Wednesday.
Fox, 28, hit the streets of the Manhattan neighborhood of Tribeca running in a pair of jeans, a gray tanktop, black boots and a blue flannel shirt tied around her waist. In between takes, Fox hung out with her costars, the quartet of men playing the titular turtles. The actors donned their motion-capture outfits that came complete with large shell-like backpacks.
In the Ninja Turtles movies, Fox plays reporter April O’Neil. Throughout the Ninja Turtles series, she has an intense rivalry with reporter Vernon Fenwick, played by Will Arnett in the new films. He was also on the set of the film in New York City Wednesday.
Joining the cast of the Ninja Turtles sequel are Laura Linney, Arrow star Stephen Amell and Tyler Perry. While Linney is playing an NYPD detective, Amell is taking on the role of Casey Jones. Perry has been cast as the evil scientist Baxter Stockman.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is slated for release June 3, 2016.
