Megan Fox Denies Rumors She Was ‘Preyed Upon’ By Director Michael Bay

Megan Fox has denied rumors that she was “preyed upon” by Transformers director, Michael Bay. The rumors surfaced after an interview clip between Fox and Jimmy Kimmel from 2009 recently resurfaced.

In the interview, Fox discussed how she was cast as an extra in Bay’s Bad Boys 2 when she was 15. At the time Fox described that she was asked to sexually dance in a bikini under a waterfall instead of sitting at a bar or holding a drink since she was underage.

“His solution to that problem [being underage] was to then have me dancing underneath the waterfall getting soaking wet. At 15, I was in tenth grade. So that’s sort of a microcosm of how Bay’s mind works,” Fox told Kimmel during the interview.

Kimmel responded saying, “that’s really a microcosm of how all our minds work,” and the audience laughed.

Fans were appalled at how Fox was treated and demanded she get an apology. However, on Monday, Fox addressed the situation with an Instagram post.

“While I greatly appreciate the outpouring of support, I do feel I need to clarify some of the details as they have been lost in the retelling of the events and cast in a sinister shadow that doesn’t really, in my opinion, belong,” she began.

“I was around 15 or 16 years old when I was an extra in Bad Boys II. There are multiple interviews where I shared the anecdote of being chosen for the scene and the conversations that took place surrounding it,” Fox said.

Fox also discussed her role in Transformers when she was around the age of 19 or 20. “I did ‘work’ (me pretending to know how to hold a wrench) on one of Michael’s Ferraris during one of the audition scenes. It was at the Platinum Dunes studio parking lot, there were several other crew members and employees present and I was at no point undressed or anything similar.”

Fox ended her post thanking her fans for their support. She closed saying, “when it comes to my direct experiences with Michael, and Steven for that matter, I was never assaulted or preyed upon in what I felt was a sexual manner.”
