Meadow Walker remembered her father, movie star Paul Walker, on the one-year anniversary of his death on Nov. 30 with a sweet Instagram post.
Walker, star of the Fast & Furious franchise, died on Nov. 30, 2013, in a car crash that also took the life of his friend Roger Rodas. Meadow, his only child, was living with her father at the time, having moved from Hawaii, where she lived with her mother Rebecca Soteros, three years prior.
On Sunday, Nov. 30, Meadow took to Instagram to honor her father, posting a sweet photo of the father-daughter pair from when she was a baby, writing simply, “I love you.”
Walker left Meadow his entire estate in his will, and requested that his mother, Cheryl Walker, be his daughter’s guardian, but it’s unclear whether or not Meadow is currently living with her grandmother or her mother.
Walker’s father, Paul Walker Sr., however, did reveal that Meadow is doing well in school, though he admitted that the two were not close. “She’s doing – I hear from the grapevine – she’s doing very good in school. She’s keeping busy… I think she’s just a little bit shy around me, grandpa. I think time is on my side and things will get better,” said Walker Sr., in an interview with E!
Remembering his son, Walker Sr. said, “He did not like the limelight at all, he’d much rather share it.”
Paul Walker’s final film, Furious 7, the newest installment in the Fast & Furious series, will hit theaters April 3, 2015.
