McConaughey Has A Girl

Just after midnight on Sunday, Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their first daughter and second child, Vida Alves McConaughey. Alves and McConaughey met in 2007 and live together in a house in Malibu. According to London’s Daily Mail, McConaughey blogged, “Vida is Portuguese for life and that’s what God gave us this morning.” She comes only 17 months after her older brother, Levi Alves. With no new movie prospects announced for McConaughey, he should have plenty of time to concentrate on his new child. –KADEEN GRIFFITHS
