Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik has tested positive for Covid-19. She revealed her diagnosis and symptoms via Instagram despite being vaccines and boosted.
“I have Covid and it’s no joke over here,” said Bialik. “It’s bound to find us and it did. It’s very very exhausting… here’s many varieties of Covid… The exhaustion is very special.”
The Big Bang Theory alum made no light of the situation as it has put her delicate health in danger.
“I am hoping that it passes quickly,” the actress said. “I’m trying to believe my body knows what to do. I do have asthma, I do have a thyroid condition which means it’s an immune compromised situation.”
Bialik has also expressed her concern for the other people dealing with the virus, who might not have adequate health care resources or have to take care of young kids.
“This level of exhaustion, I just cannot imagine needing to care for small children right now and I know that so many people in this world are in that situation,” said Bialik. “I know that there are people who do not have resources or care. It’s something I’ve been fallowing since the beginning of Covid.”
On Tuesday, she updated her fans by saying that she was “feeling better” and grateful for all the people that reached out to her during her stressful quarantine. After her recovery, she is set to return as co-host of Jeopardy! alongside series champ Ken Jennings.
