Maya Hawke, Ethan Hawke & Uma Thurman’s Daughter, Makes ‘Stranger Things’ Debut
Maya Hawke, daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, made her Stranger Things debut in season 3 – and her parents couldn’t be prouder.
The new season that hit Netflix on July 4, introduced Robin. Robin is one of Steve Harrington’s (Joe Keery) classmates and co-worker at Scoops Ahoy.
Her dad actor shared a short clip of his daughter’s character on Instagram Sunday, praising her.

“Some of you may have missed her in last year’s BBC production of Little Women,” said Ethan. “Some of you may have missed her work at Julliard. I know many missed out on numerous high school productions – heck I even missed a few and I’m her father. Some of you may know her music, some may not. But Ladies & Gentlemen, get to know MAYA HAWKE. She’s the real thing. #StrangerThings.”

Thurman also took to Instagram to recognize her daughter’s accomplishment. She shared a photo of Maya laying in the pool with the following caption:
“My victorious loving mermaid daughter. A weekend of triumph on Stranger Things. Congratulations beloved.” Thurman tagged Maya, as well as used the hashtags #strangerthings #motherlylove and #mayahawke.

Maya made her debut as an actress in BBC 2017’s adaption of Little Women, as Jo March. She will also appear in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, which is set to release in theatres on July 26.
