Matt Damon hit the gym in West Hollywood Wednesday as he prepares to film the next Jason Borne film.
Damon, 44, looked as buff as ever returning to his Cadillac Escalade after a hard workout, no doubt preparing to play the rogue assassin for the fourth time. The actor had dressed for the fitness session in track pants, a gray Kings County t-shirt and a baseball cap.
Though it was rumored that Damon was done playing Jason Bourne, the actor’s longtime pal Ben Affleck accidentally leaked that a fourth installment of the franchise was in the works. Eventually, Damon confirmed the news, explaining that he’d been waiting to make sure Paul Greengrass was back on board.
“It’ll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out,” he told E! News. “Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that’s all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes.”
In addition to his acting gigs, Damon also spends a lot of time working with his charity water.org. The charity, which endeavors to bring clean drinking water to the developing world, has launched a promotion with Stella Artois called Buy a Lady a Drink.
“Today, 750 million people around the world live without access to clean water. This crisis disproportionally affects women, who walk a combined 200 million hours a day to collect water for their families,” reads the caption on the promotional video, which stars Damon. “Stella Artois is supporting Water.org to help solve the global water crisis.
