Mary-Kate Olsen's Horse Victorious The Hampton Classic Horse Show
Mary-Kate Olsen earned a big win in the Hampton Classic Horse Show on Sunday when her horse, Marvelous, came in first place in section B of the Local Hunter division.
Olsen, an avid equestrian, was on hand at the event to accept the award on the mount in riding gear – strictly traditional as Olsen herself did not ride Marvelous. It was James Anderson who rode the horse to victory on Sunday.
Olsen was there with the support of her much older boyfriend, Olivier Sarkozy, but her twin sister, Ashley Olsen was absent from the event.
The 27-year-old sisters have been in the spotlight their entire lives, starting when the two were cast on Full House in 1987 as babies. Though they grew up acting, neither performer has done much acting recently. Mary-Kate was last seen onscreen in Beastly (2011) with a supporting role.
The Olsen’s have found success with their fashion empire, with lines Elizabeth and James and The Row. In 2012, they won the Womenswear Designers of the Year award.
Mary-Kate’s love of horses dates back to her youth. In fact, in 1993, the Olsen twins released an album titled I Am The Cute One, featuring a song called “My Horse And Me” sung by Mary-Kate.
