Mary-Kate Olsen may have already married her longtime love Olivier Sarkozy, as reports claim a source close to the young star has confirmed the happy news.
While Olsen, 28, and Sarkozy, 44, have not been shy about sharing public displays of affection with paparazzi, both have kept details of their relationship secret, choosing to remain private. In fact, the couple never announced their engagement, which was reported in March. Olsen offered confirmation when asked if she would ever design her own wedding dress, saying, “I’m, like, not even there yet. I think it may be a matter of getting five or six or making two or three and being stressed out. That seems kind of far away. We’ll take one step at a time.”
Recently, the pair was photographed sharing an afternoon snack in the Hamptons and sporting matching rings. In the photos, Sarkozy and Olsen are seen wearing thin, gold bands on their ring fingers, suggesting they have already tied the knot. A source confirmed Lucky’s suspicion that the couple had, indeed, already wed in private.
However, days after the story was allegedly confirmed, another gossip website, Gossip Cop, claimed that sources close to Olsen said that Sarkozy and Olsen had not married, despite the rings.
This would be the first marriage for Olsen, who currently runs a fashion empire, which includes her line The Row, with twin Ashley Olsen. Sarkozy, half brother of former French President Nicholas Sarkozy, was married to Charlotte Bernard until 2010, and they share two children, Julien and Margot.
