Promotion for season two of Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg‘s cooking show, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, is heating up after the release of the show’s newest promo.
The promo is based on the famous scene from Ghost, when Patrick Swayze romantically assists Demi Moore as she throws pottery.
In the Potluck Dinner Party version, Snoop Dogg appears behind Stewart as she puts chocolate icing on top of a spinning cake. The rapper hugs the TV star and the two begin to rub their hands along the chocolate cake.
While in Ghost, Moore smashes the vase she is making, Stewart and Snoop don’t totally destroy the cake. Instead, Stewart lets Snoop eat some of the icing off of one of her fingers.
The commercial first aired during MTV’s broadcast of the Video Music Awards on Sunday night.
Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party premiered last November on VH1. The show features celebrity guests as they join the two hosts in front of a live audience to make delicious meals. While the first season featured guests like Seth Rogen, Wiz Khalifa, and 50 Cent, the second season will include Diddy, Jamie Foxx, RuPaul, Kate Upton, Anthony Anderson, and Michelle Rodriguez.
Season two, which will consist of 10 episodes, will premiere on Monday, October 16, at 10 p.m. EST on VH1.
