Martha Stewart Launches Match.com Profile

Martha Stewart has launched an online dating profile on Match.com, looking for love in the internet's vast dating pool at 71. Stewart, who has made a name for herself as a renaissance homemaker, is proactively searching for a new man to welcome into her life.

Stewart, who's is sporting a partially unbuttoned white-button down in her profile picture, lists herself as a divorced New York resident at 5' 9'' with an athletic build. She doesn't smoke, is a social drinker and won't be willing to reveal her faith until she chats a little bit with her potential suitors. She's seeking a younger man between the ages of 55-70 who lives within 50 miles of New York City.

"You may recognize me from my pictures. Yes, it's really me," begins Stewart's bio on the dating site. In her bio, she also reveals the cause that made her turn to online dating – it was working on her book Living the Good Long Life. "I was reminded how central good relationships are to happiness and longevity. Also, I’ve always been a big believer that technology, if used well, can enhance one’s life. So here I am, looking to enhance my dating life."

She describes herself: "Curious about everything. Love learning. An adventurous spirit." She'd like for her future partner to also be curious, established and adventurous. He better be pretty smart as well, as Stewart not only lists intelligence as something she desires in a man, but wants him to have a Graduate degree. Incidentally, she only has her Bachelors.

Stewart divorced from Andrew Stewart in 1987 after spending 26 years together. They have one child together, daughter Alexis, 47. Since then, she's dated actor Anthony Hopkins and Charles Simonyl, a computer executive.
