Mark Wahlberg flexes at frat party (Image: Mark Wahlberg/Instagram)
Mark Wahlberg crashed a frat party while visiting his daughter, Ella, in college back in September during parents’ weekend.
“They were having the most fun I’ve ever seen anybody have, ever!” he recently told ET. “Even more than her coming to Vegas, I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town.”
Wahlberg, who skipped college to focus on his career, mused about the possibilities. “I’d still be in college,” he laughed. “I would still be at the frat house. I’d be a 25th-year senior, yeah. It was nuts. Parents’ weekend was incredible.”
Walhberg is currently starring opposite Michelle Monaghan in the Apple TV+ film, The Family Plan.
This movie focuses on Dan Morgan (Wahlberg), a man who was once a world-class assassin but abandoned that life so that he could focus primarily on his wife, Jessica (Monaghan), and his children, all of whom are unaware of his past life. But when someone from his past returns to murder him and threaten his new life, he now has to take his family on a road trip to Las Vegas to deal with this situation.
Wahlberg believed that his co-star was the perfect choice to play his character’s wife as he admired her talent for mixing comedy, drama and action with finesse.
“I recommended her right away,” the Daddy’s Boy actor declared. “I think it’s a fine line with the action, the comedy and then also you know [my character] being able to keep this secret from his wife and not making it seem like she’s just oblivious to everything.”
Wahlberg recently made headlines when he said he was “ready to leave acting behind” him.
