Mark Salling, ‘Glee’ Star, Arrested for Possession Of Child Pornography
Earlier this morning, the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served a search warrant for Glee star Mark Salling‘s residence in Sunland, Calif.
Salling, 33, is best known for his role on the hit TV show as Noah “Puck” Puckerman until June 2013. He was arrested and processed this morning in downtown L.A. where is being held on $20,000 bail.
Officer Ricardo Hernandez, a media spokesman for LAPD, confirmed the arrest and the charge of possession of child pornography, and said the actor is being held in downtown Los Angeles. No other details were available yet, he said.
This is not the first time that Salling has had a run in with the police. In January 2013 when his former girlfriend, Roxanne Gorzela, filed a lawsuit stating that Salling sexually abused and assaulted her. Salling denied all claims that were made against him and followed that with a counter suit against Gorzela.
The lawsuit was finally settled in March 2015 with Salling having to pay $2.7 million to his ex.
