Marion Cotillard looked chic at the 2015 Hollywood Reporter’s Academy Awards Nominees Night at Spago in Beverly Hills, Calif., Monday evening.
Cotillard hit the red carpet at the annual pre-Oscar event in an angular white Carolina Herrera ensemble with an abstract magenta floral design. She wore matching white Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and wore her hair in a coiffed up do.
Get The Look For Less: Dress, Neiman Marcus, $6,990. Shoes, Zappos, $99.
Cotillard is nominated for her second foreign-language film for her turn in Belgium-French-Italian feature Two Days One Night. In the film, Cotillard plays a young wife and mother who desperately tries to save her job at a solar panel company by appealing for her coworkers support after suffering a nervous breakdown.
“I’m so happy that I can share European movies here and that members of the Academy want to see them and tell us that way that they appreciate our work,” Cotillard told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet. “It’s really something that I appreciate so much.”
“Yes it is [surprising to be nominated again]. Not that I expected it last time. It was a different journey. I didn’t know the whole thing,” said Cotillard, referring to her Oscar win for La Vie en Rose in 2008. “This year I really didn’t expect to be nominated. And I’m so happy for the movie. The fact that I can take the movie to the Oscars this way is amazing,” Cotillard added, noting it was unfortunate that the film wasn’t nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.
The Academy Awards will air Feb. 22 at 7/6c.
