Mariah Carey Reignites Feud With Jennifer Lopez: “I Still Don’t Know Her!”

It’s been over a decade since Mariah Carey told the paparazzi that she “didn’t know” who Jennifer Lopez was, and now, it seems, she’s at it again.

On The Wendy Williams Show last week, Lopez was asked about the comment and she responded, “She is forgetful I guess! We’ve met many times.”

Carey, though, either is more forgetful than it seems or priming her diva chops. In 2015 in an interview with The Cut, she said that the comment was only meant to explain how she had never personally met Lopez. But according to TMZ, as Carey was leaving the Venice Family Clinic’s Silver Circle Gala this week, she was asked about the resurfacing of the decade-old comment and Carey laughed, “I still don’t know her!”

It could be that Carey was just poking fun at the old scandal. But maybe, the mysterious feud never ended, as E! reports that Lopez has attended every residency show in Las Vegas residency show except Carey’s. (However, Lopez has assured speculators that it is only because of her crazy schedule.)

Still, Lopez as recently as a year ago she claimed they had never met. “I don’t have a feud against her at all,” said Lopez, “I know from back in the day, I’ve read things that she said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met.”
