Mariah Carey finally confirmed the pregnancy that everyone has been speculating about Thursday morning. Carey, 41, and husband Nick Cannon, 30, have been skirting rumors for months, even as they dropped hints that there might be a baby on the way, going as far as saying, "When the time is right, everyone will know" in August. Carey told The Today Show that "it's still early" in her pregnancy, however, and she revealed that she was previously tight-lipped about the issue due to superstitions and because she was "trying to hold on to a shred of privacy." The singer added that she suffered a miscarriage roughly two years ago about a month into her pregnancy and that she's expecting in the spring. –KIMBERLY STEELE
