Mariah Carey rolled out her Match.com profile with the release of her new single “Infinity” on Tuesday.
Carey, who has been single since her split from Nick Cannon, used the divorce to inspire her new song “Infinity.” In the music video, Carey can be seen swiping through prospective suitors on Match.com’s mobile app.
“I hope every woman who is single and listens to this song goes out and finds her infinity,” Carey said in a statement to Us Weekly. “Whether on Match or the traditional way.”
The single singer posted the music video to her newly created Match.com profile, along with some of the lyrics to her 90s hit “Dreamlover.”
“I need a lover to give me/ The kind of love/ That will last always/ I need somebody uplifting To take me away,” read the lyrics. “I want a lover who knows me/ Who understands how I feel inside/ Someone to comfort and hold me/ Through the long lonely nights/ ‘Till the dawn/ Why don’t you take me away.”
On Match.com, Carey lists her interests as cooking, movies, music and religion, as well as swimming and yoga. The 45-year-old singer is looking for a 20-120-year-old man who lives within 50 miles of her home base in New York City, doesn’t smoke and is at least 6-feet tall.
