Margot Robbie was pretty in pink as she attended the photo call for her new movie, Barbie.
Ryan Gosling was also in attendance to promote their upcoming film. Others present were director Greta Gerwig and actors Issa Rae, America Ferrera, Michael Cera and Kate McKinnon.
While Robbie stuck to Barbie’s signature color and wore a pink and white polka dot dress, the rest of the cast and crew opted to wear beige and white, excluding Cera, who chose to wear black and blue. Fans noticed the stark contrast between Robbie and the rest of the cast and shared their thoughts on Twitter, with some calling the wardrobe choice a “sad beige.”
“What’s with the sad beige and grey color scheme?” a fan reacted.
“I think everyone except Margot must have gotten lost at the Mattel offices on their way to this press event because what in the grayscale?” one person questioned.
“In the real world too, she’s Barbie. They’re all just a bunch of Kens,” another declared.
One fan noticed Gosling’s highlights in his hair and commented, “Ryan’s hair out-doing the gals.”
Gosling, 42, previously faced criticism for the casting decision to have him play Ken, with some fans saying he was too old for the role.
Barbie will be out in theaters on July 21.
