Margot Robbie and director Craig Gillespie attended the French premiere of I, Tonya in Paris on Monday (called Moi, Tonya in French).

MARGOT ROBBIE & CRAIG GILLESPIE AT FRENCH I, TONYA PREMIERE

The 27-year-old actress wore an elegant pink lace dress with floral stitching on the bodice and a floating skirt. She wore her hair straight down and the ends curled in at her neck. She finished off the look with bright red lipstick.

Robbie plays Tonya Harding, the notorious figure skater who was banned from the Olympic sport after being accused of hiring her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly to maim her rival Nancy Kerrigan before the Olympic trials. Robbie’s acting had garnered her critical acclaim and brought her a Best Actress in a Comedy award at the Critics’ Choice Awards last week, beating out Saoirse RonanTiffany HaddishZoe Kazan, and Emma Stone.

Robbie was also nominated for the Best Actress Golden Globe, but lost to Frances McDormand for her role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which was a big winner that night.

While Harding was not an active participant in the making of I, Tonya, she has become part of the promotional events and has walked many red carpets. Robbie and Harding have shared stories and a few laughs while on the press tour together. Harding is getting lots of press and her 1980s story has been reopened, but she is not a fan of looking into the past. She had a recent falling out with her publicist because of a request she made to fine any reporter who asked about the incident with Nancy Kerrigan on tour.
