Mandy Moore attended the Hearst launch of HearstLive in New York City Tuesday night in a stunning black ensemble.
Moore hit the read carpet at the HearstLive launch in a black velvet dress. The frock featured a plunging neckline with a thin black collar and a thigh-high slit. She completed her look with black sandals.
For the 70s inspired getup, Moore’s hairstylist Ted Gibson gave the actress some bouncy curls inspired by the likes of Jennifer Beals in Flashdance. “[Mandy was] nervous about [the hairstyle] at first,” said Gibson, who convinced her about “how cool this look would be.” Gibson added to Yahoo of the hairdo, “It’s really in fashion, this kind of texture. And if I have to see another beach wave, I will scratch my eyes out, ha!”
On Instagram, Moore shared a video clip with unREAL stars Constance Zimmer and Shiri Appleby. “Just a couple a dancin’ ladies over here. ⚡️” Moore captioned the snap.
Moore captioned a picture with the two women at the Hearst event, “You never know where the day is gonna take you but I’m sure glad it included a bit of time with these beauties. Nice seeing you @constancezimmer and @shiriappleby! ?”
Moore currently stars on This Is Us, which airs Tuesdays on NBC at 9/8c.
