Malin Akerman’s husband Roberto Zincone has filed for divorce from the Trophy Wife star.
Zincone reportedly filed the divorce papers last week, around the same time Akerman and Zincone’s separation became public knowledge. At the time, reports had stated that neither of the parties were preparing for divorce, but now it seems Zincone and Akerman are ready to make the split official and end their marriage.
Akerman, 35, just gave birth to their first son, Sebastian, seven months ago and the couple has been together for a decade and married for six years. They met as members of the rock band The Petalstones, a group for which Akerman acted as frontwoman before leaving to focus on her acting career.

According to the court documents, Zincone is seeking regular visitation rights to see his son, but is prepared to give Akerman full physical custody.
The documents cite “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the divorce, and neither Akerman, nor Zincone has released a statement on the split.
