Malia Obama Catches Chance The Rapper At Lollapalooza With Friends – And Secret Service
First Daughter Malia Obama attended Chicago music festival Lollapalooza on Sunday, staying to see closing act Chance the Rapper.
Malia Obama Attends Lollapalooza
Obama, 15, attended Lollapalooza with a trio of friends – two boys and a girl – and her Secret Service detail, reported the Chicago Sun Times. The teen’s music festival wear was a matching crop top and skirt combo with a sunflower pattern, and she styled her hair in a pair of braids.
While enjoying the music, Obama told fellow concertgoers that she wasn’t permitted to take pictures with anyone – but made an exception for one lucky fan. “J chillin with Malia Obama,” the girl tweeted along with the picture.
In addition to Chance the Rapper, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s eldest daughter was also spotted enjoying the music of Australian singer and songwriter Lorde during the festival’s Friday lineup.
Lollapalooza takes place annually over a period of three days in Chicago’s Grant Park. This year, the music festival ran from Aug. 1 to Aug. 3 and had roughly 300,000 people in attendance over the weekend.
In addition to Chance the Rapper and Lorde, Lollapalooza hosted performances by Kings of Leon, Eminem, Outkast and Calvin Harris.
