Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week to promote her new film Early Man and talk about the HBO series.

MAISIE WILLIAMS ON GAME OF THRONES ENDING

The actress, 20, addressed the rumors that Game of Thrones would be shooting multiple endings so that no cast or crew member would know the exact ending, and also to throw off any spoiler mongering fans. Host Jimmy Kimmel asked Williams if she’d read all the scripts, to which she said, “I do, I know the end of Game of Thrones.”

Kimmel then mentioned that the president of HBO Casey Bloys announced that the show would film multiple endings, so asked how the actress would know if she knew the actual chosen ending. “I heard this and I immediately thought, ‘I don’t think we got the budget to shoot multiple endings,” Williams replied.

The host responded that Bloys would know what the budget would be and if that plan were happening, and Williams threw out a hilarious jab at Donald Trump to much applause: “But, as we know, sometimes presidents aren’t always telling the truth.”

“Well done,” Kimmel laughed.

As for the rest of the season, Williams says they still have a ton of footage to shoot before completion. GoT is going into it’s eighth and final season, which will comprise six episodes instead of the usual ten. “It’s a mammoth task this year, it’s huge,” Williams said.

“So then we know, based on that, that you’re in a lot of the episodes,” Kimmel

“No, not necessarily, ’cause some of the episodes take a really long time to shoot,” Williams responded with a sly smile.

Her upcoming film, Early Man, is a stop-animation movie from Nick Park, the creator of Wallace & Gromit. “For me, it was just a privilege to be asked,” Williams said, explaining that the film was being made by a “tiny little studio” in the middle of her hometown of Bristol. Early Man hit theaters on Feb. 20.
