Damian Lewis, Maggie Siff, Malin Akerman attend 'Billions' premiere
Maggie Siff, Malin Akerman and Damian Lewis all turned out for the premiere of their new Showtime series Billions at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art Thursday night.
Lewis, who previously starred on Showtime’s Homeland, plays hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod in Billions, created by Brian Koppelman. The series will follow Axe as he tries to avoid getting taken down by U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades, played by Paul Giamatti in the series. Siff plays Giamatti’s character’s wife, Wendy Rhoades, while Ackerman is Lewis’ other half, Lara Axelrod.
Trophy Wife star Ackerman shared a video from the Billions premiere red carpet on her Instagram page. “Just like walking in the park and listening to the birds chirp…red carpet madness!” she captioned the behind-the-scenes clip. “#billions @sho_billions What a great night! Coming to your TV January 17th on @showtime.”
The actress also shared a black and white picture of herself posing in front of a poster featuring her Billions character, writing, “FaceTime! #billions premiere. @sho_billions.”
Billions will premiere on Showtime Sunday, Jan. 17 at 10 p.m.
