Madonna Spotted Walking Near Her Home After Hospitalization Due To Life-Threatening Infection
Madonna was spotted in public after her hospitalization due to a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.
It was announced earlier this week that she had been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
She was seen wearing a black oversized t-shirt, matching black shorts and white and red Nike sneakers on the Upper East Side in New York City. She accessorized with oversized black sunglasses, a beige straw hat and her Kabbalah bracelet, as she is known for studying Kabbalah in the 2000s.
Fans took pictures when they spotted her and one even posted them on TikTok. Eyewitnesses who saw the star claimed she looked “good” but was walking slowly.
Paparazzi have been camping outside her home for days hoping to get a photo of the singer, but she has mainly been staying indoors while recovering.
Madonna additionally posted a health update on her Instagram feed on Monday. She thanked her fans and friends for their positive thoughts and prayers.
“Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life. My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children,” she wrote.
She detailed how she doesn’t want to disappoint fans or the people who have helped her with her Celebration tour.
“My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

She ended the statement by announcing to fans her future plans regarding her health and the tour.
“My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I can assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can! The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe. I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M.”
