The Queen of Pop and Sam Smith are welcoming LBGT Pride Month with an announcement of their new song, “Vulgar.”
Madonna and Smith, using the hashtag #samandmadonna, took to social media to share their own teasers of their collaboration.
Smith, who goes by the pronouns they/them, posted a TikTok video first, where they duet their dancers while they move to the beat of the new song.
“#duet with @Pfion Vince When you’re on vocal rest but your dancers are beautiful and VULGAR is out next friday #VULGAR #prideanthems,” they wrote in his caption.
Shortly after the initial post, both music artists posted similarly styled videos as they each sang and danced to their parts of the collaboration.
“GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES #SAMANDMADONNA #VULGAR @Sam Smith,” was written in Madonna’s caption.
“VULGAR IS BEAUTIFUL #SAMANDMADONNA #VULGAR #prideanthems #ForYourPride @madonna,” the caption read in Smith’s second post.
Last week, the “Lay Me Down” singer was forced to cancel his Glasgow and Birmingham concerts on his Gloria the Tour because of a “vocal chord injury.”
Madonna has her upcoming tour in July and has been reportedly working on another new song called “Popular,” this time with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti.
“Vulgar” will be released on June 9.
