Madonna is sick and tired of unwanted comments about her appearance.

The 64-year-old pop superstar received backlash about her appearance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony after she arrived at the awards show looking swollen from what appeared to be a recent plastic surgery.

Fifteen days after the ceremony, Madonna took to Twitter to joke about the criticism, posting a selfie with the caption: “Look how cute I am now that the swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol,” finishing off the caption with a laughing emoji.

The singer posed for the camera with a strong glare and wore her bright orange hair in four braids along with a baseball cap that read “Spiritually Hungry.”

The tweet comes two weeks after Madonna posted her favorite moments from the Grammys on Instagram while taking time to shut down her haters.

“It was an honor for me to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith at the Grammys,” she wrote. “I wanted to give the last award which was Album of the Year, but I thought it was more important that I present the first trans-woman performing at the Grammys – a history making moment.”

“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim,” she added. “Many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that would distort anyone’s face!! Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny.”
