Madonna announced Saturday that she has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19)antibodies.
The singer posted the 14th edition of her “Quarantine Diary” IGTV series, in which she sits in front of a typewriter and narrates her thoughts.
“Took a test the other day, and I found out that I have the antibodies,” Madonna said. “So tomorrow, I’m just going to go for a long drive in the car and I’m going to breathe in the COVID-19 air. Yeap. I hope the sun is shining.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has yet to confirm if the possession of antibodies means immunity.
Madonna previously posted another controversial video on her Instagram in March, referring to the novel virus that killed more than 200,000 people globally as a “great equalizer.”
