Madonna Responds To Critics Of Her Prince Tribute
Madonna and Guy Ritchie have settled their eight-month long custody battle over their 16-year-old son Rocco Ritchie.
New York Supreme Court documents reveal that Madonna and Ritchie’s protracted legal battle has come to an end without either making an appearance in court, reported People magazine. Rocco will continue to live with his director father in London, according to Ritchie’s lawyer Peter Bronstein.
Madonna seemed to react to the agreement on Instagram. “Because sometimes soccer Mom’s need to be a,” she captioned an image of herself emblazoned with the word “B–ch.”
“And be treated like a…” she captioned a follow-up post that had “Queen” written over a photo of her.
Back in March, both Madonna and Ritchie were urged to end their ongoing custody battle as quickly as possible for the sake of their son.
“No one is disrupting his household other than the inability of the parents to reach a resolution,” Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan said in court Wednesday, according to The Guardian. “If they cannot resolve this matter then eventually the court will.”
Madonna and Ritchie, who were married from 2000-2008, are also parents to an 11-year-old son David, who they adopted from Malawi in 2006.
